Cookies & browser storage

Last updated: 29 October 2026

The website’s own code does not include advertising pixels, analytics trackers or embedded social-media feeds. Links to Amazon and social media open those providers’ services, where their own cookie and privacy notices apply.

Your optional discovery checklist

The checklist works without saving anything between visits. If you choose “Remember my checklist on this device”, we use your browser’s local storage to save only the numbers of completed checklist items under gml-discoveries. We read this saved progress only when you choose that option. It is not sent to GML Garage or used for advertising.

This is optional. Untick the option to stop remembering and remove saved progress. “Start again” also removes saved progress. Otherwise it remains until you clear it or your browser removes site data. A new visit starts with remembering switched off.

Hosting and security

The hosting or network service may use strictly necessary technology to deliver pages and protect the service. This notice distinguishes that infrastructure from the optional checklist storage controlled by GML Garage.

Your controls

You can clear cookies and local storage using your browser’s site-data controls. Clearing data may remove saved checklist progress. We will update this notice and provide any required choices before introducing optional analytics or advertising technologies.
